BITUMEN & ASPHALT PROCESSING
Platinum Seal Limited manages and runs Ghana’s biggest bitumen processing facility. The facility has also been classified as the biggest in Sub-Sahara Africa.
Our bitumen processing yards are located in Akotsi (Central Region), Elubo (Western Region) and in Kumasi. We produce all kinds of bitumen. The company was the first to introduce polymeric bitumen emulsions into the Ghanaian market. We operate a 120-ton Hot Asphalt Mix Plant located at our Kpone yard in Tema, a 150-ton Hot Mix Asphalt plant (customized with its own PMB processer). We also have a Mobile Asphalt Plant located in Barekese, Kumasi. These facilities are equipped with all the necessary machinery which are needed to carry out any form of hot asphalt mix lay.
QUARRY PRODUCTS
As part of the expansion drive, Platinum Seal Limited also operates a total of 400 ton per hour quarry line located at Shai Hills, under the name Platinum Seal Quarry Limited.
The facility comprises of a 250 ton per hour stationary line and a 150 ton per hour mobile crushing line. The latter ensures Core Construction Limited has readily available aggregates closer to its base of operation at project sites.
